Bimbling around....

This blog was written on Thursday 23rd June, at 9am, about Wednesday's adventures.....

After our much needed morning nap, we went for a bimble - glasto speak for a random wonder- we walked to the market stalls, and had our first meal at Glastonbury (a cheese & onion pasty), whilst we were sat eating our pasty some bluefin tuna swam (walked) past, followed by the fisherman and a a large net, this was a greenpeace promotion to raise awareness of overfishing. Oxfam were also promoting their 'green hand' campaign, so Linz had a green hand print put on the leg of her shorts to raise awareness. We then found an old fashioned red double decker selling tea and fresh juice, along with the nicest, freshest cookies and cake.

We then bimbled back to the tent for a relax under our little gazebo.
Once Lulu had had some sleep, we set off again, ensuring we had the rucksacks packed with essentials, such as loo roll, antibac gel, camara, hoodies, headtouch and glowsticks, we head over to the west holts stage, so Linz could get one of her favourite meals at glasto 'Le Royal' from Le Grand Bouffe, which consists of cheesy, bacony sliced potatoes and a French sausage cooked in red wine gravy. This picture was taken just after we had finished eating.......when you take a nice picture of yourselves, there is always a nutter in the background.....

We then headed to the Brothers Bar for a pint of the festival favourite - flavoured pear cider!
We then had a bit more of a bimble and returned to the tent, to relax and plan for tomorrow's adventure!
The rain woke me up on Thursday morning at 5, then again at 7, as it was really heavy, but what really made me wake up were the voices of our neighbours, saying "oh no, I'm in a puddle", "everything is wet" and "I really hope my sleeping bag dry's out before tonight!"
Linz and I headed off to wash our hair in the freezing / refreshing cold water, ready for the day ahead...
